Show Notes:
Well, what else is there to say? 40 days and 40 nights in the Elvis Cathedral comes to an end. This show was so good, Dave Grohl couldn't contain himself! I hope you all enjoy it as
much as I did.
Just when you think you're out, they pull you back in! I've been out of the game for quite some time now. It was great to see my old taper buddies, and meet some new folks as well. Really had to dust off the gear for this one.
Even had to take out a loaner on the multitrack recorder. Thanks for assist from Chris for getting me a ticket for Friday, Steve for receiver, Sharebear for the deets, and Dave for the DR2d.
Recording Notes:
What started off horribly with an SD card error on Friday, Saturday went off pretty smooth.
Captured feeds from Bono and Dallas, and stirred them up in Audition. Repaired any static best we could. Not perfect, but certainly doesn't take away from the listening experience. I'll just say that the GA Floor
isn't the best place in the world to tape from. Lot of people moving infront of us constantly. With that being said, it's still pretty solid.
A lot of work goes into making these things happen. Lot's of finances, prep work, lots of stress, lots of post production, did I mention finances, mistakes and mishaps, etc.
IEM recordings are not for everyone. Unlike Sharebear/Hoserama, I leave in all the count ins, metronome, etc. I think it's a great look behind the curtain, and it's a huge pain in the ass to
remove them.
Also note that not all IEM's are created equally, and some mixes just sound better than others. But, with that being said, I think all will be more than pleased with this mix overall. Whatever
you do, don't use the Sharebear/Hoserama mixes as the standard becuase you will be sadly disappointed...lol

Please don't sell this recording in any way - no cash for blanks, 2:1s....Just share it freely.
Please don't torrent or share on Dime....I will do that myself.
******If you want to mix up with Sharebear's Bram IEM feed, or create a matrix with Daspyknows' audience source, or both, be my guest. But, if you are going to do that, please make sure you time align
all sources prior...don't think you can just line up the first beat and your all set, nope. All recorders have different time clocks and you will be in a world of hurt by the end. So do
it right, or don't do it at all.
And if you want to use for a video, that's fine too, just make sure you credit those involved*******
All the best!
