An excellent follow-up to the already fantastic first night in Denver, featuring an even stronger performance from the band featuring an even tighter performance with fewer mistakes than the previous night with the band still giving it their all throughout which also applies to Bono as he sounds even better than the night before and delivers one the best vocal performances I have heard from him from the Joshua Tree era which shows you just how good Bono could get during an "on" night on this 3rd and final leg of the tour he is quite chatty in places and delivers passionate vocal performances of everything in the set tonight with Sunday Bloody Sunday in particular being the best version out there with his only flaws tonight being the falsetto notes on The Unforgettable Fire which are once again whispered out.
The band also take it to change up some songs here, such as Helter Skelter no longer having a reprise of the guitar solo, Spanish Eyes being jammed out, which results in it being nearly 10 minutes long, and not having a false start like the previous rendition.
Sound
Listenable even if it's in average bootleg quality, although I should add that I'm using a remaster of the source recording, which may explain my slightly higher rating. Recording: Audience microphone - 3 stars
Audience
What I said about the audience the previous night can also be applied here, but this time, it's mainly because the audience recording itself is focussed on the band.
Overall
Yet another top performance from the Joshua Tree tour, which is an even better experience from start to finish than the previous night in Denver if you can get past the average bootleg sound quality. It seems that the band themselves thought so, too, as they ended up using this show rather than the first night for the Denver performances. Yet another essential listen for this tour as it contains a top performance from the era.
