Or maybe they wait until the Paris shows are over and announce it within a week's notice or something, so only (mostly) local fans have the chance... It sounds like an idea.

U2 will play a series of scaled-down indoor shows at the 3Arena later this year.
The group end the European leg of their World Tour in Paris on November 15.
Despite Irish dates being so far omitted from the tour, sources believe the Dublin gigs may take place between November 25 and 28. This comes after reports that U2’s crew are booked into the adjacent Gibson Hotel for those dates.
Prices of rooms at the Gibson are higher than usual during this period which has added to speculation that U2’s could be there in late November.
A hotel spokesperson said they were “not in a position to comment on individual guest bookings”.
But an industry source told the Irish Sun: “Expect an announcement from U2 on Irish concerts very soon, and I’d say late November would be when the dates would take place.”
Another slot for gigs at the 3Arena is available after December 19 following a string of monster shows by Brendan O’Carroll aka Mrs Brown. At the start of this year Bono confirmed to the late Tony Fenton on Today FM that U2 would play in Dublin at Christmas.
But he said they would have to scale down their massive show for 3Arena.
Bono told Tony: “We decided, let’s do something we’re not going to do anywhere else in the world.
“Let’s create the most intimate show we’ve ever done. Let’s focus, try everything else out. It’ll be be risky, but it’s gonna be interesting.”@IrishSunOnline
