Running To Stand Still (no performances in 12 years)
Red Hill Mining Town (no performances ever)
In God's Country (no "regular" performances in 28 years)
Trip Through Your Wires (no performances in 29½ years)
One Tree Hill (no "regular" performances in 28 years)
Exit (ni performances in 28 years)
    Mothers (rarely played overall)

You guys are starting to lose focus a little bit I'm afraid.

This is 100% the way I look at it, as much as I'm not keen on hearing elevation it couldn't possibly ruin hearing they songs you've mentioned as well as maybe ASOH and the little things, so I don't think we can complain about the setlist, when I talk about preferences thats all it is and in no way a criticism of the band because I think they are pushing the boat out this tour, so I will enjoy elevation anyway, maybe less than the rest but I'll still enjoy it.
  2. No rehearsal tomorrow.
I'm interested to see how the tour evolves and improves before it lands in Europe.
Also will the agenda in the US be as anti trump as before ?

Thanks for putting things into perspective...

Yeah... bored as I am with Elevation, I'd rather have it than have one song less in the set.
  5. I'd be happy with this setlist:

    1987-06-27 Dublin, Ireland

(minus People Get Ready/Help, add Two Hearts or OOC)
  6. There should at least be 1 song in the set people can complain about.
Otherwise it is not a real U2 show. Larry knows.

Can't sing, but I've got soul...

Good thing you can complain about everything then...

A Sort of Homecoming in nearly 16 years and wasn't played since TJT tour? I totally agree. As much as BD and Elevation look incredibly out of place in the set - and how much I resent the idea of them being there - having Red Hill, Exit and Mothers in the same set is more than worth it. Besides, I've never heard NYD live - and ASOH will have me feeling all fuzzy inside. This set will change drastically I think, over time. Earlier songs will be introduced, it will all change. The band will get bored easily.
