U2 played many shows and rarely did shows get cancelled. Still they did happen, with a notable 3 cancellatio..
  2. Halfway between Indy and St. Louis when I heard. Sad but not surprised. St. Louis is still hurting from the Ferguson protests and these wounds are hurting again. It will be a tough weekend there. No chance the police can spare the security needed to staff a stadium show now. I really hope the city can survive a weekend without a violent outcome.

  12. It's a shame they could not have held off the verdict until after the weekend - not because of U2 but maybe less chance of trouble on say a Tuesday night. My American friend tells me its been months so a few more days couldn't have hurt. So terrible all around. Hopefully this dark time in the US will pass soon.
