[PA Intro: Love Is All We Have Left]

    1) The Blackout
    2) Sunday Bloody Sunday
    3) Bullet The Blue Sky
    4) American Soul
    5) You're The Best Thing About Me
    6) I Will Follow
    7) Summer Of Love
    8) New Year's Day
    9) Until The End of the World

    [Intermission: The Fly Lounge Mix]

    10) The Fly
    11) Vertigo
    12) Mysterious Ways
    13) Red Flag Day / The Refugee (surprise swap) / The Showman
    14) Elevation
    15) MLK
    16) Exit
    17) The Little Things That Give You Away / 40 (snippet)
    18) Where The Streets Have No Name
    19) Pride (In The Name of Love)
    20) Love Is Bigger Than Anything In It's Way

    Encore:
    21) Get Out Of Your Own Way
    22) Beautiful Day
    23) Landlady
    24) One
    25) 40

[PA Outro: 13 (There Is A Light)]

Not my perfect setlist but this is my pick for the most likely one.
  2. Thanks. The only thing is the encore. I lost my momentum when I got to the encore and just put in more standard encore songs like One.

Now that I think about it it could go more like this:

    Encore:
    21) Get Out Of Your Own Way
    22) Beautiful Day
    23) Landlady
    24) Bad / People Got The Power (snippet)
    25) 40

Or if I want the whole show to end on a high note:

    Encore:
    21) Beautiful Day
    22) City of Blinding Lights
    23) One
    24) Bad / People Got The Power (snippet)
    25) Get Out Of Your Own Way

Kinda fitting to have GOOYOW as a closer. Seeming like the band is sending us off reminding us not to get in our own way and own up to humilty. Pretty nice goodbye.
  3. Also I'd change the intermission:

[Intermission: Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses (Temple Bar Mix)]

I really like GOOYOW as the opener to the encore I could really see that happenning.
  5. The Blackout
    Desire
    Vertigo
    Elevation
Get Out Of Your Own Way
American Soul (bono inside the screen ala Cedarwood Road)
Summer Of Love (since this seems to be the next single)
    Red Flad Day
    Raised By Wolves
Until The End Of The World

Intermission - Love is all we have left

    Lights Of Home (inside screen)
    The Fly (inside screen)
You’re The Best Thing About Me - e stage
    I Will Follow - e stage
Every Breaking Wave - Edge and Bono
    Bullet The Blue Sky
Please/Where The Streets Have No Name
    Pride
    With Or Without You

    Beautiful Day
    One
Love Is Bigger Than Anything In It’s Way

  6. Now that you mention it, this came to mind.

    Encore:
    21) Get Out Of Your Own Way
    22) Beautiful Day
    23) With Or Without You
    24) Lights of Home
    25) Iris (Hold Me Close) (snippet) / A Sort of Homecoming

The Iris allusion in LOH, Iris snippet before ASOHC. Kinda risky since Homecoming is a rarity among diehards and its ideal to end a show on an anthemic banger but lyrically it makes the most sense. With the opening songs the theme of nuclear war and mortality is apparent but with these closing numbers the theme of "home" and "mothers". Especally Lights of Home and ASOHC: "In your eyes I see it, the lights of home..." "Hold me close and don't let let go..." "don't sorrow don't weep, for tonight, at last... I AM coming home!" And those final Edge string chimes ending the show.
  7. Since I love doing these predictions so much I thought I’d make a few adjustments to what I’ve previously guessed at.

Pa: Love is All we Have Left

    1. Blackout
    2. Lights Of Home
    3. Until The End Of The World
    4. You’re The Best Thing About Me
    5. Get Out Of Your Own Way
    6. American Soul
    7. Sunday Bloody Sunday
    8. Red Flag Day
    9. Beautiful Day
    10. Vertigo

Intermission over PA. Summer Of Love (remix)

    11. Discotheque
    12. Staring At the Sun
    13. Stay
    14. Every Breaking Wave
    15. Pride
    16. City Of Blinding Lights
    17. All I want Is You
    18. Where The Streets Have No Name
    19. With Or Without You
    20. Little Things That Give You Away

    Encore
    21. Zoo Station
    22. The Fly
    23. One
    24. Love Is Bigger Than Anything In It’s Way
  8. Just came up with this. Going to give it a listen tomorrow and see how it flows:

Intro PA Song: Needs some thought. Something very political.

    1. The Blackout
    2. The Fly
    3. Elevation
    4. You're The Best Thing About Me
    5. Get Out Of Your Own Way
    6. American Soul
    7. The Refugee
    8. Red Flag Day
    9. With Or Without You
    10. Beautiful Day
    11. The Showman (Bono starts hamming it up in and around the screen)
    12. Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me (in the screen)
    13. Disotheque (walking out of the screen like the Lemon)
    14. Vertigo
    15. Sunday Bloody Sunday
    16. Summer Of Love
    17. All I Want Is You/Landlady snippet (I'm picturing a really passionate "When all/I want/Is you followed by "The Landlady...takes me up...in the air...")
    18. One
    19. Love Is All We Have Left)snippet)/Where The Streets Have No Name/Love Is All We Have Left (snippet)
    20. "And love..love is all we have left..." into Walk On
    21. Kite
    22. Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own

(I'm picturing these powerful heartfelt songs to end the main set because the encore will be all about being home and love)

    23. Lights Of Home
    24. Pride (In The Name Of Love)
    25. Love Is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way

    * I feel like the encore needs one more song... something that fits the theme of going home and love. Possibly Zoo Station?

    Thoughts?

    A Sort of Homecoming?
  10. I'm setting myself up to be majorly let down, but I sense a Zoo Station revival coming.

Looks good, would love a Zoo Station revival but I don't think they'll ever play Walk On again given the whole Rohingya thing (which I've said before, sorry for repeating myself!) And I know everyone seems to be going for LIBTAIIW closer but I reckon it would be better as a main set closer and have a 40/Love is Blindness/Moment of Surrender type song to end, but that's just my outlook

    (Ps Gone is always welcome)

I would like to see them reclaim Walk On. I mean we know who it was written for but the lyrics lend themselves to a number of interpretations. Post 9/11 for example.
