1. But does he really have a drinking problem? Noel is probably exaggerating. I think Adam would force him into rehab if he really would have a problem.

Ah ok . I just think if Bono was indeed a diabetic he wouldn't be able to go on these daily drinking all-day binges, unless of course he has a death wish , which he clearly doesn't .

Also, I remember reading Bono went to the hospital sometime in 2011 while in France . He had an irregular heart beat I believe .

U2 lead singer Bono was reportedly rushed to a hospital in France earlier this week after complaining of chest pains. According to the story, the singer was released the same day but ordered to get plenty of rest.

NME reports that Bono spent a number of hours at the Princess Grace Memorial Hospital last Wednesday (Aug. 17) as a result of the scare. A leading heart specialist examined the singer and apparently found nothing that a little R&R won't cure. He was seen two days later with his wife and friends, relaxing at a nightspot in Monaco.
  4. Something was definitely not right with him this year. We hashed it out in the what’s wrong with Bono thread but never really concluded anything. You could just tell though.
  5. We don't know and I don't care to know as its his business and he wishes to remain private about it

Again not the right time... but could be related anyway.

Anyway, if he wants it to be private, so be it, I've had enough of guessing into the man's private life!
What I do care about is understanding the album theme/background though...

Yea. I love how certain people went on that thread and completely shit on people who noticed something was off during JTT. I’ve seen them over 20 times and have been watching videos of live u2 since I was 5. He was not himself. Whether it was something lingering physically or mentally , something was right. As great as the band sounded, Ive never seen bono so still during a show. I’m just grateful he’s ok , even if it means less energy from him during tour.

This was made bigger than it was.
Also heard that is was just a routine check. What actually make sense, cause it was a year after his back injury.

  9. Neither me. I want to be in the SoE 30th anniversary tour. I do need more 10 albums like this. Those are now at least 7 classic songs.

They are very alive. Very active and creative. Thank God. I want to enjoy their art, creation for a long time.
  10. Leave the man alone.
