1. Just noticed that on Sat 21 Jul 2018 at 02:00 am BBC RADIO 6 MUSIC are playing a 60 mins broadcast of the RDS Stadium 1993 gig. Although it does say it's from 1994. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0bb2vmm
  2. Cool but what’s the point.
  3. Best concert ever by u2
  4. First concert that I ever attended. Stood at the B-Stage and was blown away by it. Strangely, I always remember the support band ‘ The Golden Hoarde’ swearing and making gestures at the crowd.
  5. The Golden Horde were a fantastic band. A copy of their album is like gold dust in Ireland. Simon Carmody, the singer has written a number of songs with Bono (Drinking in the Day, Ballad of Ronnie Drew, Conversation on a Barstool). Check out Friends in Time and 100 Boys.
  6. If it's only 60 minutes, hopefully its filled with AB tracks and that Bad-BTBS-RTSS-Streets run.

I love them. But yes, trying to score a record is costly...
  8. The 6 music classic concert goes out every Saturday, where they play a live recording from the BBC vaults. This is the first time they've played anything from this particular gig. So it does makes a pleasant change from the Hammersmith Palais '82 show, which they repeat fairly regularly.
  9. Excellent show. Love the solo in Bullet.
  10. You can find this version of Bullet The Blue Sky on the U2 ‎– Stay (Faraway, So Close!) - The Live Format release.
