1. Yesterday my parents and me were argumenting about this thing.
Yesterday we heard that The Police had sold out 55.000 tickets for Barcelona (the onlt concert in Spain, in September) in 8 hours... Many of other 1980s bands are together again... But they don't play as before, their concerts are not the same... Would you like to attend one of this shows??

PS. Would you like a 65-years-old U2, as are Rolling Stones now?
  2. Why not?

Have you seen Keith Richards and Mick Jagger on stage, and the drummer?
  3. I would like to see U2 over 20 years, bu t then the show should be a lot different. I think they aren't able to make a explosive show, they'll have to do it otherwise.
  4. I hope that U2 one day will start a Good-bye Tour, as big as Vertigo-tour..And that they quit their tour and their career in Dublin, hometown of U2. I'll definitely go there! When U2 stops, they must stop for ever and not begin again at a later point.

Yes, I agree with you! I think that when an artist can stop his career he has one of the most important characteristics that each artist must have.

Time ago I listen by someone, don't know who at all, this sentence, that I totally agree with: "The great actor is that who can leave the stage 5 seconds before the applause ends".

I think Rolling Stones made it wrong, because they came back too much time after "the end of the applause for them".

I also hope that U2 will start a Good-bye Tour, a great one, to end their career DEFINITIVELY and to give us an eternal image of them in all their splendour...

Well, if they will look like 45-years-old U2... why not?!

Yes, I understand what you mean. Personally I think that U2 will continue their great career for at least 10 years. They are just in the best of their career! The Vertigo Tour all around the world was simply unforgettable, they won a lot of prizes during the last years, they made a lot of (great) new songs,... Moreover they are not yet 50-years-old, so for me it's certain that they will go on for other years.
So don't worry! Think that I haven't attended any concert yet...

Well... Ehm... I'm a fan of Juventus and I'm really glad that in Brazil you can watch Juventus, but... Juventus-Rimini ended 0-0.... I'm so angry for that!
Anyway... GREETINGS FROM ITALY!!! I really hope you will come here and visit our beautiful country.

    SEE YOU!
  12. The last page in U2byU2 gives some clues on if/when they'll retire from Larry.

But if they're still playing the classics and are 50 years old...hey, Bono's 46 now who cares? And like you all, I will be taking a trip to Dublin to their very last show.
