1. Just heard the full song for the first time. Wow! This really feels like a different song now.

The spaciness reminds me a bit of "Immortality" - the Bee Gees song that Bono was on about.
  2. So they definitely got one of the 2Cellos guys to do the intro, right?

This just feels like a case of “This is sacred, don’t touch it.” Oh well.

It’s…atmospheric? Which, I guess in the right circumstance, could be…okay? But I don’t think it’s for me.

It's pretty much the book tour performance.......without the pace and bass drum.
  4. I missed the book tour. Wish I’d known about it, but alas.
  5. There’s a great recording on the show pages. I thoroughly recommend it.
  6. Oh, I didn’t even think about that. I’ll check it out.
  7. I'm loving this version.
  8. I did not like this at all. It's lost all of it's meaning and impact of what made it an incredible song. Now it just sounds hollow and incredibly stripped back. Pretty boring too.
  9. I hate this and will never listen again. Shouldn’t have been on this album.
  10. This is absolutely beautiful. I can't get over it.
  11. Happy anniversary of the 1987 rooftop gig
