  1. Hi!
    As you probably will know, I often wite my posts with some special carachteristics. Some other people of the Forum also write in Bold, Underlined, etc. sometimes.

    Well, I've seen some of you have learned to write "special" texts (for example sabd7788), but I want to share here more of this nice knowledge. I recommend you to copy-and-paste the forward for learning it, it's fantastic.

    ··Special text codes··
    ***I'll write the codes with spaces; to use it, you have to write WITHOUT the spaces***

    BOLD
    [ b ] ... Text you want to be bold ... [ / b ]
    Result: bold text


    ITALIC
    [ i ] .... text you want in italic .... [ / i ]
    Result: italic text


    UNDERLINED
    [ u ] .... text you want underlined .... [ / u ]
    Result: underlined text


    CROSSED OUT
    [ s ] .... text you want to cross out .... [ / s ]
    Result: crossed out text


    WRITING-MACHINE FONT
    [ t t ] .... text you want in writing-machine font .... [ / t t ]
    Result: [tt]text in writing-machine font[/tt]


    ABOVE TEXT
    [ s u p ] .... text to be above .... [ / s u p ]
    Result: normal text[sup]and above text[/sup]


    UNDERNEATH TEXT
    [ s u b ] .... text to be under the rest .... [ / s u b ]
    Result: normal text[sub]and underneath text[/sub]


    CHANGED - SIZE TEXT
    [ s i z e = N ] .... text .... [ / s i z e ]
    *Normal size is 5; put 10 for a giant size or 3 for a un-llegible text.
    Result: normal tex... [size=10]Big Text[/size]... [size=2]smallest text[/size]


    CENTRED TEXT
    [ c e n t e r ] ... text .... [ / c e n t e r ]
    Result: [center]centered text[/center]


    INSERT AN IMAGE
    *All you know to do this, but it can be helpfull to new people.*
    [ i m g ] .... the image-code that you've obtained in www.imageshack.us ... [ / i m g ]


    COLOUR TEXT
    [ c o l o r = XXX ] ... text ....[ / c o l o r ]
    ***XXX stands for Red, Blue, Yellow... or for the code in HTML, which is #ff0000
    with the numbers modified. That's pretty nice if you know how to do it.
    Result: [color=red] Red text [/color]


    SCROLLING UP-DOWN TEXT
    [ s c r o l l u p ] .... text .... [ / s c r o l l u p ]
    Result: [scrollup] I love U2 [/scrollup]


    SCROLLING LEFT-RIGHT TEXT
    [ s c r o l l ] .... text .... [ / s c r o l l ]
    Result: [scroll]I Love U2[/scroll]


    WAVING TEXT
    [ w a v e ] .... text .... [ / w a v e ]
    Result: [wave]I love U2[/wave]


    TEXT W/ SHADOW

    But please do NOT use it widely on the forum, the special carachteristic waste many bandwidth of the Forum.

    Well, that's a problem with the Forum. Remy, if you've disabled something please, could you be so kind to enable it? This codes make the Forum more funny!

    But I'm still f**ked up with the lack of efectivity of the advanced codes. in all the other forums i've been they worked perfectly...

    Oh, don't get angry for these little things.
    Actually I'm not going to protest against anything in this site, 'cause I'm always thinking about the NEW U2START that is going to come!
    Anyway you're right, 'cause with the advanced codes enabled the forums would be better.

    Eh, this is a forum I made by myself, so there's nothing disabled. It's just not build in.
    I hate codes like [center], I see it coming then, every newbie posting things centered on the page, that would make the forums quite ugly. Same things with colors (imagine if the color is grey, you can't even read the text) or moving letters, It's not a teenage forum!

    I'll make a list myself soon with all the codes that are built in, because I wrote them I'm the only one who knows You're missing a few too.

    PS. By the way, your Cannes recording is from the live broadcast? I've just seen the performance (yesterday Iw as not at home) and I think that on Youtube it's better heard than in the IFC web... Do you know where is yours from? Thanks!
