1. You can't tell by some of your nicks but most people here seem to be men. Are there more men into U2 or am I mistaken?
  2. I would definatley guess that its probably 90% men on here (at least on the forums)
  3. I think there are also a lot of woman into U2, but I think that man are more serious into U2

OR they're just better when it comes to finding their way on the internet to U2-sites.
  5. Really, I don't think that women take music that seriously. Just look at the number of female musicians compared to the male ones.

Well, you said a right thing. In music there are much more men than women. Anyway I can't work out any explanation about this fact... Maybe it's for what you said, maybe not. I don't know!

Nevertheless it's a bit strange that in this forum the major part of the members is man, if you consider that in the world women use to live on the forums, the blogs and so on much more than men. X2

well, all the forums I ever participated had more men than women and they were all about music. Maybe on forums about other things there are more women...
From Wikipedia: "In an American study, the percentage of men using the Internet was ahead of the percentage of women, although this difference disappeared in the under 30s. Men log on more often, spend more time online, and are more likely to be broadband users. Women are more likely to e-mail friends and family about a variety of topics"

  8. Im a woman and proud to be one! But here in these forums your right it is male dominated But it has nothing to do with the fact that there may be more men into U2 to women would it? but like thechicken said it might just have something to do with the fact that males spend more time on the internet? i don't know tho!
    I dont understand men

You couldn't have been more accurate about that.

  10. What you've got between your legs doesn't have anything to do with what you got in your heart, I think. I know a lot of women who are as intensely into music and maybe more so than men and as Bono said before, the U2 organization is, a majority, women.
Just because women aren't into forums (or U2start) doesn't mean they don't take music as seriously as men. I think that's an immature thing to say...

yeah haha, maybe I was too serious about that...looks like a journalist

Yeah probably. One of my friends, (A girl) despises U2! It drives her nuts when I play it! My other friends like it, but it
really drives her nuts! Sometimes I play it just because I know she hates it.
