1. Hello people. As you know I'm being a bit absent from the forums, but I managed to be able to post that.
I think this is a mythical date. November 8th... Some of you do know what I refer to. Yes.

    RATTLE AND HUM...

Almost one hour of that mythic film was filmed 20 ears ago. On Denver's McNichols Sports Arena, in a cold night of 1987, four boys walked along a red background. It was the Joshua Tree, the boys were U2.

Helter Skelter, Silver And Gold, Pride (ITNOL), Exit, In God's Country, Sunday Bloody Sunday and Bad. 7 songs. One history. Probably one of the best concerts ever. The energy of the band was incredible, the audience were in a great mood. Unforgettable

    Bye

There was also a show on the 7th November at the same location but the footage for R&H was taken from the show the night after, the 8th - ie today! This is common practice, they did it for Sydney ZooTV too (thank God, what with Adam not showing the first night.......)
  7. Fantastic. Thanks Sergio.. ! It's one of the best of the U2-moments ever.

11/7/87 is an AWESOME classic soundboard boot, one of the top rated on u2start.

11/8/87 was the night after, which was filmed for about half of the Rattle & Hum film. this is "sunday bloody sunday" with the "fuck the revolution" speech.
  9. Wonder do they have the entire thing filmed somewhere? Not enough performance of Spanish Eyes.
  10. I didnt even realise until I watched the news here and there was a commemoration of the Eniskillen bombing then I though Sunday Bloody Sunday and that led to Rattle and Hum.
