  1. I've just now realised what a GREAT GREAT song it is, you know that feeling you get when you realise the qualities of a song after sort of dismissing it as average.

    This song is another AB classic

    It is part of an Achtung Baby Holy Trinity to rival that of the Joshua Tree (Streets, ISHFWILF & WOWY).

    Alongside Acrobat and Love is Blindness, could there be a stronger close to an album ever?
  5. That song is just amazing. It completely blew me away the first time I listened to AB. Right from the start I was like ... OW MY GOD! It's got great lyrics, vocals are done wonderfully by Bono and the live shows with Mirrorball man are just the best!
  6. I just don't feel that the time of this song has come for me...this tune is great (as each track on AB), but it's definately not its finest moment. Ultra Violet is an inseparable part of the album, but as a stand-alone track...well it's just simply good, but not breathtaking. Unfortunately the live versions did not add much vitality to it, especially when performed after 'Desire'.

  10. My first rule when collecting U2 shows, when I began a few years back, was any ZOO show with UltraViolet was good by me!

    I think it a great song and highly under-rated. I wish they'd play it again... * Looks for The Edge's phone number *
