    Comments on this show
When a new tour is almost there it's always nice to look back on the start of previous tours. For example: how did the first War concert go? Well, it was a nice show with the first performances of Two Hearts Beat As One, Seconds, Party Girl, and 40, and the last performance of Fire. It's also the only time Like A Song is played. Amusingly, after Party Girl, Bono states that it was the song's "first, and probably last" performance - it has gone on to become U2's most performed b-side, with almost 200 performances to its name.

We have an 3 star audience recording for you, available on both Rapidshare and Mediafire and both available in lossy and lossless format. We encourage you to listen to this bootleg this month and write your own review, the more, the better. Enjoy!

  2. Must be Sergio's choice hahaha

Good choice I hope This time I WILL have a listen

  3. First thing I thought of too Will take a listen for Like A Song and Party Girl alone
  4. sound is a bit of poor but still i think its a good choice 'cos i just love U2's early days
  5. One of the best U2-years in history..great choice
  6. I obviously love this show, and I highly recommend it to you all. Not only because it's the very only Like A Song performance ever, but because it was the first show of the first really important tour. War Tour was a landmark for U2, when they went from "Local band makes a 250 people sold out in a Cork pub" to "Irish band sells out 6'500 tickets in Boston", if you know what I mean.

    10/10
  7. Nice setlist. Think I might check it out.
  8. Great performance of Tomorrow in this show. Great choice.
  9. The sound is unfortunately lacking in quality, but it's a great show nonetheless, and the fact it has the only ever performance of Like A Song makes it a must-have in my books

It's a must-have indeed, and the sound is not that bad if you take it's a 26 years audience recording...
  11. That is Youtube-crap-sound, it' must be 64 or 96 kbps from what I hear, so it's pretty shit actually. But the quality of our recording is much better, it can be perfectly listened (that annoying hiss from the youtube clip is not present, and the sound is warmer). If you're not very picky, you'll enjoy it
