1. When I first saw them, they were supporting Pearl Jam in 2007. They did impress me so I bought Because Of The Times the next day, which still is a fantastic album. 2 months later they were playing Lowlands Festival and they didn't impress me at all.

Only By The Night had a couple of good songs, but most are album fillers.

With Come Around Sundown I lost all my interest in KOL
  2. Music of the 2008 financial crisis...?
  3. Anyone got a pre-sale code for Cologne?
  4. I'm tempted for this.
  5. Got a ticket for Birmingham.
  6. This week, I'm listening to every Kings Of Leon song in their discography in chronological order. So far, with the first 3 albums done, I only like Knocked Up, Trunk and Arizona but I have a ways to go.

Separate from that, I have recently listened to the entire discographies of:
Amber Run; I purchased 3 songs
Arcade Fire; I purchased 4 songs; the 45-minute instrumental they released on the meditation app Headspace can't be purchased so I acquired it from YouTube
    Muse; I purchased 2 songs
    OneRepublic; I purchased 1 song

From all the above bands . . . . . . I was certainly expecting to find more songs appealing but . . . . . I'm just too picky. Another example is the Neil Young Archives Vol. 3 box set, which was released a few weeks ago. It has over 220 songs but I will purchase only 3 songs when they become available at the iTunes Store. With his Vol. 1 box set, I purchased only 2 songs and his Vol. 2 box set, I purchased only 8 songs.

After Kings Of Leon . . . . . next on my list is Imagine Dragons, Paramore, Boygenius, Wet Leg, Sharon Van Etten, Elise Trouw and Hania Rani.

You should enjoy the next one a bit more. Only by the night is by far their best album imo. 8 of the 11 tracks would be in my top 15 kings of Leon songs.

No it's not. Because of the times is by far their best. Only by the night is the beginning of the end. Still enjoyable, but middle of the road popsongs. After that album it became worse and worse.

Knocked up is the only song I like on because of the times.
  10. Man some harsh critics here. Come around sundown is my favorite. It’s a constant vibe from beginning to end. Because if the times is my second. Nothing beats those two for me.
