    it's Vietnam
  2. Probably not. It was Vietnam, but they are deleted from the calender. I'm hoping for Malasia as well
  3. as the calendar says TBC instead of TBA I think they're still aiming for Vietnam. There are some serious doubts about the race, but I don't think it's that easy to get rid of the contract.
  4. I thought Vietnam was 50/50?

It's TBC because it now seeks a replacement. It was in the provisional calendar and was to be announced before being scrapped.

  7. That’s the most entertainment I’ve had from F1 for years.
  8. I've read the different views on it, but there's no official news about Vietnam being cancelled, so I still see the TBC in relation to Vietnam. TBC doesn't mean, we're looking for interested parties. F1 never looks for circuits in Asia, they get offers and only take the big ones.

"The highly anticipated Vietnam Grand Prix will, however, not feature and a replacement for its slot remains to be confirmed ... the Vietnamese government have subsequently decided to not continue with the project for next year." - The Guardian.

  10. that's what the guardian says, it was not in the official F1 press release. Vietnam has a contract, Liberty will not just take it off the calendar because they changed their mind. We'll see. I think Vietnam is still more likely than any other Asian country/circuit.
