1. Hello,

    I hope i am posting in the right forum. I was able to obtain the concert i was looking for (1992-4-20 tacoma zoo tv) in lossless format, well, at least i hope it is true lossless. How can i find out if it's true lossless?

    it sounds way better than the first time i got it (which is in mp3 format)

    the only thing is that I want to see if i can improve the sound quality a little more. Kinda like doing some remastering to it. Does anybody know of a program that I can use to be able to do this? OR what special equipment will i need?

    let me know, thanks!
  2. You cant know for sure. Using Frequency Analysis (FA) and Spectral Analysis you can check if there are frequencies missing.

    You can remaster audio using apps like Audacity, Soundbooth, Goldwave, etc. But you will need to know how to do it. There is no 'Improve' button that makes it sound like a soundboard.

    Don't expect miracles! Most 'remasters' sound worse than the original imho.
  3. thanks for your response.

    as far as programs that I can use to "remaster" the sound, which one do you recommend that is most user friendly?
