1. Partially paralysed..wow

Anyway, keep the discussion about Bono here and about the postponed leg in the other one Yeah just made.
  2. Renamed the topic since the surgery is passed time.
  3. I'm relieved that we finally got some official news after this weekend of wildest speculations everywhere. Still this sounds truly serious, so I hope that those 8 weeks of rehabilitation they talk about will be enough. I hope Bono will take the time his body needs to be "fit enough" for the stress and pressure a tour puts on a man's body. There's a lot of money involved and all, understood.

now that we know more details about his injury... would you say 8 weeks (as minimum, like they say) are enough to be fit again?

If the doctors say so..I'm no medical expert.

I'm no doctor, but people like you and me would get 4 weeks of rehab in a standard institution, do some Physiotherapy and get back to work.
Bono gets a treatment by some of the best specialists in the world and has nothing more to do than getting fit again.
So I'd guess he'll be fine.
  6. After reading what his condition was I couldn't help but think "What the fuck did he do to himself?" Whatever it was it sounded quite painful.

He's an 50 year old man with a lot of energy...I think this problem is something natural for his conditions and the way he lives...
  8. well, they said minimum time.

I'd give him 8 months, if that's what he needs to get back to full recovery.
imagine you suddenly had no feeling in your lower legs, I'd have panicked like woah.
  9. Well i only hope he'll be as fit as before so he can be jumping on stage again.
Don't really care when. If Bono get's better, the concerts will be played.

I don't really expect him to jump on a stage anymore. Maybe Ultraviolet killed his back in the long run.
