1. Zooropa as a five-song EP??
    1. Zooropa
    2. Lemon
    3. Stay
    4. The First Time
    5. The Wanderer

I probably could be convinced to replace one of the last two tracks with Dirty Day.

  4. I couldn’t reduce a great album like Zooropa to a 5 song EP. The only change I’d make on the album would be having a version of the wanderer sang by Bono. I often stop the album after dirty day. Was good to hear what people thought about the live stuff. My track by track thoughts in live vs studio

Zooropa - studio (great) live (very good)
Babyface - studio (good) live (poor)
Numb - studio (good) live (quite good)
Lemon - studio (great) live (ok)
Stay - studio (great) live (great but not quite as great as studio)
Daddy’s gonna pay for your crashed car - studio (very good) live (ok)
Some days are better than others - studio (good) live (n/a)
The first time - studio (good) live (quite good)
Dirty day - studio (very good) live (great)
The wanderer - studio (poor) live (good for the Johnny cash tribute night, terrible on 360)
  5. 30th anniversary and the zooropa limited edition yellow vinyls have been restocked (sadly theres no remastered album for streaming services).

    celebrate y’all, Zoo-day
  6. Still say this is a superb album, doesn't get as much love as it should
  7. zooropa should be in dolby atmos, what a crime
  8. As good as it gets
  9. Probably my favorite in their catalogue. I wish they considered it more than just an Achtung Baby footnote.
  10. Great album though I must admit its soundscape has always sounded 'flat'

Doesn't seem to have a noticeable high end

Maybe the vinyl version sounds better - more dynamic?
  11. Yes. Over previous years they've tried to mythologise Zooropa as part of the Berlin sessions, even if a few ideas did germinate there, the album was inspired from the tour and deserves an anniversary release with outtakes from the studio sessions.
