The question of this new You Too is:

What should U2 do to rock out Glastonbury this summer?

    - Only play the mainstream hits
    - Only play rarities
    - Play mainstream and rarities
    - Just play the usual 360 songs
    - Doesn't matter, they'll rock out anyway

Please vote on the frontpage of the website, in this thread you can tell us why you voted for your answer.
Your vote is valued! Thank you!
  2. Mainstreams and rarities, but at the same time they would rock anyway
  3. They will rock out anyway, but some songs rock more than others.

A 360 setlist without acoustic songs would be perfect.
  4. Isn't mainstream and rarities equal to the usual 360 songs

    Except if its Stay

  5. How about the mainstream rarities like Saints/Sweetest Thing/ Electrical Storm/ Crazy (no Remix)

    Edit:
Oh and When loves comes to town with BB ofcourse (:
  6. i feel like if i say it enough the band will hear it: PLAY ALL THE HITS!
Remind everyone why they are hits, because those songs are even better live so play them to the hilt. Put the extended solo back into Mways, put sgt Pepper and goal is soul and/or In Gods Country at end of Bday, put 15 different snippets into Bad, bring Bullet and RTST back into the set... heres a start
    I will Follow
    Pride
    New Years Day
    Sunday
    Bad
    Streets
    With or Without
    Still Haven't found
    Bullet and Running to Stand
    Desire
    All I want is You
    One
    Mways
    Bday
    Elevation
    Vertigo
    City of Blinding
    40...
If U2 play all these and knock them out of the park, then they can play what ever they want to fill out the setlist and they will have exceded everyones expectations...I think
  7. they should live debut Acrobat and Stand Up Comedy, they're doing a celebration of Achtung Baby anyway
  8. if somehow they get Batman there I'd be very impressed.
  9. Play mainstream and rarities is my answer, but I believe U2 will rock anyway too
  10. was looking for the "ZooTV/ Popmart tour setlist" but i think whatever they play will be amazing
  11. Wheather they're playing their rarities or their hits (or both), they'll blow the place away either way.

  12. Well, as much as I truly LOVE Stay, I have to admit that it doesn't work in this stage and this stadiums. This stage is designed to bring a rock show even closer to the audience, but it doesn't work that well when it comes to acoustic or slower songs. Stay is still a great song, but if I ever have the chance to witness it, I really would prefer witnessing it in a small venue like an arena rather than in a stadium.
