Started with the elevation tour DVD’s really given the variation between Boston and Slane but I think that was more coincidence. Then with vertigo milan from 10 songs they chose all 5 of the tracks played that night in Milan that weren’t on the Chicago dvd, I think that was the first time it was a deliberate choice and then 360 they went all out with u22 and from the ground up. It’s a satisfying strategy to me.

Yeah from 360 they actually (including bonus tracks) released in terms of length 2 concerts with totally different setlist. (U22 - 22 songs; From The Ground Up 15+5 bonus tracks+1 bonus from U22 + Mercy from Wide Awake EP=22 too)
