I'm looking to expand on my U2/Bono book collection and was just wondering what you all recommend. I have an idea of what's out there but I'm sure some are better than others. I've already got U2 by U2, U2 Show and Bono on Bono. Any help would be much appreciated!
"U2: At the End of the World" by Bill Flanagan is one of the best books I've ever read about U2. I think it captures the Achtung Baby/Zooropa - ZOOTV/ZOOROPA tour era great.
"U2 By U2" is the most in depth overall view. AND it is by the band and has some great previously unseen pictures.
"U2 & I" by Anton Corbijn is probably one of the best photo books. Again, plenty of previously unseen photos. And all photos are by Anton - soi they are artistic and just plain great!
"A Concert Documentary" is a great resource book for those wanting to know what was played and when. It is like having a book of U2 Tours.com right there next to you.
"Into The Heart: The Story Behind Every Song" is pretty goodtoo, in that it does talk a bit about the inspirations, story or recording of each of the songs from each album. Latest version is through HTDAAB.
