I absolutely agree, although I missed the Elevation tour and I very much enjoyed the Vertigo tour. But 360 was just better - I was absolutely thrilled during the entire two shows I attended.
  2. 360 for the stage and return and debut of three of the best-ever U2 songs (Ultra Violet, Your Blue Room and Unforgettable Fire).

Vertigo for the early songs (Electric Co, Gloria, The Ocean, I Will Follow, Out Of Control, One Tree Hill and the fact it actually came to Australia).

Elevation for...for...I'll get back to you. About Bono's hair on Vertigo (before Australia) as I see it pointed out - that's the best hairstyle yet apart from 87 - 93.
  3. Am i the only one who thought vertigo tour was epically cool? Well i think that because the tour looked awesome in U23D

YES. Vertigo gets hate for the middle section but the Fly and Zoo Station during the encore the setlists were varied well around the middle / political section.
  5. I voted for 360, because it really was a brilliant show but I still have a soft spot for Vertigo because having the opportunity to watch the build-in and hang at the rehearsals was so much fun. It was such an awesome week. For anyone who's interested, there's a rather random flickr set from November 2006 here.
  6. Were you at a U2 rehearsals? Now THAT is awesome

Great pics, oh dear, that's greaaat!!! It's weird looking at that empty stadium, weird but fantastic and emotional at the same time. Oh, great memories, august 2005, heat, sweat, tears, songs... How do I love this guys so much

Oh wow, nice pics. love the fact that some people arrive to work by helicopter, anyone what to start a band?
  8. Sorry, for offtopic. Is here a Thread about best U2-Tour ever?

  9. We're in the minority...but I totally agree!

But that's not the reason I voted for Vertigo. 360, as Gerard said, is still pretty young, and I just plain old love the older songs they brought out on Vertigo.

Put Ultraviolet on the 5th leg of the Vertigo Tour, and it'd be no contest for me.
  10. WOW!

There's a lot of debate here considering the front page seems to have 360 running away with it!

I've seen all tours since Popmart and I've got to say 360 in Cardiff is the best show I have ever seen. FULL STOP.

However, Elevation is the best tour for me. Good set, Bono's voice good, band rediscovering oldies (11 O'Clock, Out of Control, etc.), the best version of The Fly, a great rap about Mark Chapman at the end of Bullet, the best version of Mysterious Ways, a wonderful way to open the show (lights on, we're baring all here guys, take us or leave us) and they really got Discotheque/Staring segue perfect. And I mean PERFECT!

    Love Elevation
  11. 360 for me. Love the set, love the stage, love the album, love how happy they seem to play the new songs. Could use some more "rockers" though.

Special mention to Vertigo leg 5, I just love how relaxed the shows sound. Honolulu is one of my bootlegs ever, such a great vibe. Wild Horses / The First Time is a magical moment, and Bono sounds fucking amazing. But I disgress.

Elevation never quite did it for me, some great concerts (obviously), but I'm just not a fan.
