I just installed it, imported all my Firefox stuff and I am amazed.. I don't think I will ever stop using it, browsing the web is really twice as fast as before and all the great features and small new stuff is really amazing

    - Each tab it's own process, each animation, your browser will never crash again
    - Your title bar will be replaced by tabs, pages will have more room
    - 'Porn-browser', browse without your browser leaving traces anywhere
    - Just read benchmark tests on Chrome's Javascript execution speed, IE/FF can do 15/16 roundtrips an hour, Chrome 500+. A table with 1500 records, sorting with Javascript: IE/FF will crash, Chrome does it in two seconds.

I can recommend it to everyone Just try, and be amazed

    hmmm...that 'Pornbrowser' sounds interesting...
I haven't tried it yet, but I will soon!
  2. My Google Chrome wants to open all Youtube vids with Adobe Flash Movie player
Any ideas about how I change that?
  3. downloading as I type, as I'm on a fight with my Firefox more and more lately.

    how safe is Chrome actually?

  4. Flash is built in into Chrome so I don't think you can.

  5. Roughly 2 1/2 years later he finally finds help
  6. i use it for ages i love google chrome

  7. From what I've experienced/heard, it's safer than IE. I don't use Firefox so I'm not sure what the security is like, but it seems to be more like a tamer Windows Vista- there are prompts every time you go to download something with an .exe extension, and the browser also takes you to a warning page before allowing you onto a site it has found harmful material on. You have a backout option to take yourself back to safety, or you can check a box that says "I understand this site may have material that could harm my computer: proceed anyway"

I really love it. No problems encountered so far.

sounds good enough for me, thanks, Matt will give it a try for some days and then decide if I like it better than good ol' Firefox
  9. You'll like it, Kirsten, sort of a fast-and-tidy-up browser.I'm a self-declared Firefox fan, but I can swear that Chrome can be more useful in determinate situations (when you have to do an extra quick search or when FF crashes , for example). On the downside, Chrome isn't as customizable as Firefox...

I don't have IE installed anymore, and keep FF as my main browser and Chrome as the "just in case" one.
  10. Pixelfari is the new best browser... Seriously leaves Chrome and all others in its dust.....
