1. Maybe they will release this semi-studio-semi-live version but with full 320kbps quality instead of Facebook's crap sound compression.
  2. Semi-what?
  3. I think there is no sound compression at all. This is the studio version in HQ with the Westerunie audience mixed in.

See to me it all sounds like with maybe some backing vocals especially in the chorus.
  5. The names in the song lyrics are the weakest/weirdest part. The rest isn't so bad.
  6. Ah I missing something? A lot of people are saying that. It's not like Bono hasn't done it before.

    I Fall Down
    Mysterious Ways
    All Because of You

the list goes on. I think it's kinda cool actually, but hey, that's just me.
  7. Julie and John are a central part of I Fall Down's lyrical story there is a reason to say their names, Mysterious Ways only has a single name Johnny (plus his sister), All Because of You is forgettable...

But who are Zack, Jack, Ned, and Fred? Seems just like a cheap way to get your lines to rhyme.
  8. Agree, I actually thought it was more interesting...

I'm pretty sure the names will have significance because the lyrics would have rhymed and fit just as easily without them so it's one of they ones I think Bono needs to be asked about in an interview.

Way to just ignore two of my examples for shitty reasons. And as someone else said, they'd rhyme anyway, there's a reason he put them in there. If there's anything we can count on, it's Bono trying to be artistic and poetic with shit that's way over our heads until he tells us what it is.
  11. Using the rhyming names sounds like old hipster slang from the 40s/50s to me. Which I am down with, daddy-o.
