They probably get into the new songs a whole lot more than anything else in the set and that’s the way I think it should be. I think it was even noticeable during TJT17 shows that the band were very into the lesser played JT songs and I think bono loved that they were doing RHMT in particular.
  2. On the Amtrak from Michigan to Chicago. Can’t believe it’s almost go time!
  3. I remember back in I think 2009 a bunch of people were outside their hotel. Any plans to do that again?
  4. Friend of mine gets his tickets through a connection with the band (that's how I scored my Chicago II GA, actually) and picked all his Chicago tix up at their hotel yesterday - ended up on an elevator with Adam Clayton.
  5. Here's a simple question, but an important one -- typically, around what time has the band taken the stage to start the show? 8:00pm? 8:15? 8:30?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Silvio

My experience has been that though the ticket says 8:00, it's usually not until 8:20 or even 8:30 that the band takes the stage.

  8. 18 shows to go on the North American leg, wonder how many tour debuts we can expect in that time. I’ll say 2 or 3.
  9. I'd say 2-3 as well and at most. I believe The Showman will eventually get played....hopefully tonight or tomorrow. I could also see Out of Control maybe rotating with Gloria. I think a stretch would be Horses coming back and rotating with COBL. I doubt that, but would seem to work and keep their encore set intact.

I also think, they may decide to allow the set to be more flexible when the tour hits Europe and you may see a more debuts than in North America. I wouldn't be surprised to see The Showman waiting until then as well as Little Things maybe Landlady getting a play. I think Summer of Love will get play in Europe. You may see a different feel in Europe versus North America. I'm still trying to figure out how they do American Soul with the flag....similar to the blowhorn maybe, replace it or do they drop American Soul on that leg? We shall see.....

All good thoughts! I'd actually suggest dropping American Soul from the setlist in Europe. (And, on most days, also from the album!)
  11. I dont think American Soul will be dropped for Europe. I expect Summer Of Love to become a staple though in Europe, with Red Flag Day still being a rotational.
