1. As far as boots go, I love IEMs, soundboards and the like- I don't need audience noise to appreciate it. Still keep coming back to this recording, it's a gem. And it rocks on my four-foot speakers!!
  2. Hello my friends at U2Start. I was just wondering if there is anyway to remove the background talking and noise on this audio?
  3. Yeah, there are audio editing tools out there for that kind of stuff
  4. I’m sure there is but I’d ask the taper for permission first
  5. Thank you, that is the right procedure indeed. My recording is the only version that will be shared. If people want to play with it (edit/mix) for their personal use, they can, but not for sharing. If people want to tape and share many versions (I wouldn't) of their recording, go ahead it's your recording.

There are programs to remove the talking & static (if that's what you mean by noise) but for pure sound, even U2 themselves don't mind the static when they are playing, in fact they embrace it. Bono mentioned it a few times in other rehearsals.
  6. Ok hank you guys for the replies. I will leave as is. I want to ask one last thing. Back in the day when I downloaded a Show it would download in my program I used for downloading. Now it re directs me to another website Mega.nz and than its only one track long and not individual tracks like it used to be. Anyway to change that? Thanks everyone!

This is not related to the Lavel rehearsals shared here, right?

I have repeated your question here: Central bugs and error topic. And already given some feedback
  8. So this is absolutely the best quality audio I've heard of this tour so far, this is amazing. Edge's guitar tones for Desire, Showman and Vertigo really do stand out (I guess it should as its his IEM if I understood right)

I was wondering however, I haven't been following enough to know this, but people are also recoring IEM's of the live concerts right ? I haven't heard any recorind sounding as good as this, is it more difficult to get the IEMs during a real concert than rehearsal somehow ? Just like I&E tour, I couldn't ever find a really good recording until the official HBO broadcast. But this rehearsal IEM here sounds REALLY good which is why I'm surprised.

Yes, many shows are taped with IEM. But with IEM most recordings are released after the tour ends. We have some pretty good ones from The Joshua Tree tour as well.

It might be a bit more difficult to capture the live show rather than a rehearsal as there might be more interference, but still its doable.

We have an IEM matrix of the show in Louisville.

    There’s an IEM for Louisville?
