  1. Does anyone know what the droning sound is, in the background of Zoo Station when it's played live. It's constant and is played through the whole track, sounds like a guitar effect, maybe activated by Dallas?

    The effect is known as 'BEES'. This is created by holding a sustain and e-bow over a vibrating string and then loop-triggered to create the fluctuation. This effect was given the title of 'BEES' on a lot of ZOO TV setlists and ZOOROPA '93 setlists.
    It was part of the overall intro loop which continued into the duration of ZOO STATION.

  5. Work in to 1.42 and you'll hear the reverberation of the loop for a while, then you'll hear it through the nazi drummer boys section.

  6. That's an example of one of the setlists from Wembley.

    They should be grateful that the band are doing anything at all. They don't have to do fuck all. And if they moan, then they can always stop listening in every night and checking in.
  9. Is that Wembley 93 set list from the bootleg cd from the same show where they have a version of Bad w Ravi Shankar as a bonus track?

    The name of the boot escapes me, but I collected a lot of them before the whole download scene. I need to dig them out.

    The actual Shankar violin performance is the one on the left (12th Aug) and the setlist is from the one on the right (11th Aug) which also has the version of Bad with Shankar as a bonus track.
