  1. Yeah, that boot cover on the right looks familiar. I remember that setlist being on the opposite side of the insert/booklet. I never had the whole show for the 12th.

That 12th August show was an amazing gig to be at. Bono goes nuts during Bullet The Blue Sky shouting 'zoonited nations, zoonited nations....'

Is that the show where he tells every country to Fuck Off?!

I think I've heard that one.
  4. That's the one!! Every EU country gets the Fuck You treatment. And America too! It was such an atmosphere in that stadium that night.

That's one of the best versions of that song that I've ever heard. I'll have to listen to the show from the YouTube link you posted.

It's too bad that Bono wasn't nearly as angry during the Dublin broadcast.
  6. Out of the many European shows, I think Hamburg looks particularly interesting. With the new setlist and all.

He was super pissed off after the nonsense the UK broadcasting laws were giving the band about 'illegally' broadcasting into the stadium and especially after that particular broadcast by Bill Carter from Sarajevo. That's the hypocrites of the Zoo K for ya back then (and now).

Check out that segue of shash and interference between Running To Stand Still and Streets. It is just amazing.

I love the shows where Bono threw in some of The Doors' The End at the end of Running To Stand Still.
  9. Listen to that show I made a link to and you'll hear it in the segue I was just telling you about. Absolutely wonderful.

    Will do. Thanks!

I'll look for some active torrents for some of the 93 shows here & at other sites.

Edit: Yeah, I remember reading somewhere about the Bill Carter Sarajevo linkups in regards to that string of shows at Wembley. Might have been Pimm's book.
  11. Enjoy them! Those ZOO TV and ZOOROPA gigs were the pinnacle of this band. An absolutely stunning spectacle to have been at. Many of the gigs were so emotional.

Oh, I know. I was too young to go to this era of U2, but I've made up for it by collecting a lot of shows from this era. I bought a lot of them around the same time when the shows happened or maybe the year after.

I even remember one of my go to guys at record shows who had video boots telling me about the DC Outside Broadcast Tour Pro Shot video. He claimed that he couldn't sell it to me, so he made me an audio cassette. It wasn't until years later that I found the video at a record show. Awesome show! Only Zoo era show that had Bad-Sunday Bloody Sunday.
