1. How could anyone forget.
  2. Just rewatched the Boston DVD and this time I looked for the people sitting down at the start, saw them at the back of the heart, really childish...

These are the same people who que up days in advance so they can hog the front rows and stand there with their arms folded looking for some obscure B-side the band could do without these sort of fans who feel they are more important than the average punter .On the Vertigo tour you only found out at the door after they scanned your GA tickets if you were in the inner section or not so it was a much better way of dealing with the fanatics.

that's nice but wasn't it a problem for fans who came together and didn't want to separate?

  5. Pretty funny pic, as none of the band members is facing someone with a mask
  6. Walk On is such a good song
  7. Just watched With or Without You from Rattle and Hum. I think this may be the greatest recorded live performance of any song in the history of recorded live music.
  8. Recently I’ve started a new relationship, my girlfriend has some familiarity with U2 - Innocence and Experience and then the usual big hits - and now she’s going through the rest of the albums in order. She recently finished the first trilogy.

Interestingly, October was her favorite of the first three albums. She felt War was stronger song-to-song but October was better all around. Gloria is her favorite and she thought the running order of Tomorrow-October-With a Shout was very effective. It’s so interesting to me to see people experience these awesome records for the first time, and see what their opinions are, without influence from other fan opinions. It’s certainly made me go back to those first three, particularly October, and think about them fresh.

Damn you have a girlfriend who listened to October and it was her favorite? That’s a keeper.
