  1. In days gone by it was The Late Late Show that U2 returned to time and time again. Gay Byrne championed U2 in Ireland giving them their first big break on Irish TV. On the night of Gays last show having presented The Late Late Show for 37 years Bono and Larry presented him with a Harley Davidson! Gay Byrne is a huge part of the U2 story.

  3. Nice to see the clip of all four members of U2 (including Adam !!) joining in singing The Auld triangle from the finale of The Dubliner's special Late Late show in 1987. Don't think I've seen it since then !!

    That was from the Dubliners special. My old man had a VHS PAL copy of that.
