From "we're going away now" in Berlin to 7/8 months of rumours and excitement. People being certain this tour would and wouldn't happen. Eagerly awaiting an article from U2Songs to give us new information. Different and new cities being rumoured each time. Noel Gallagher being leaked as support act. The reaction to the tour being announced on here and twitter was awesome. I'll never forget that. Better times.

OMG was this one year ago...
Yes it leaked on May 16, when someone found the TM Australia page for the ticket sale.
I can remember everything... I think the annoucement was meant to happen but has been postponed twice.
...when the world was still normal
  3. really? there were only a few and 8ungone and me were also involuntary added to the group. Otherwise it would have barely been a group u2songs was quite clear on it. Anyway, it was well deserved for those countries and cities concerned and it became a really enjoyable tour. Now maybe they should extend their break a bit and let us wait a little longer for the next tour, it will be beneficial to the level of excitement and freshness
  4. ah, I remember one8ung's quote got removed, mine didn't . seems like most others were not even doubting, they were convinced it was not going to happen.

When the world was still normal... my God, it feels like it's been a long time. When I think back to 3 months ago, which was about the week before normal ended... that feels like a different lifetime. Hopefully we can get back to having large concerts sooner than later, I need that in my life.

But back on topic... I remember in early 2018, Adam was being interviewed about the Experience and Innocence Tour. When asked about future plans, he straight up said something like "I think we'll be taking a break, and then there will be some shows at the end of next year as well." Referring to 2019. So I believe the plan for the 2019 tour was in place for a long time.
  6. I predict they come roaring back. Not sure when or in what capacity but they always come out of the gate determined.
  7. Year ago today the tour kicked off. We should have a listening party soon to celebrate. Saitama? Sydney? Or even Mumbai now that has a recording and it is their last show to date.
