Ahhh then give Chicago 03-31, Austin 04-07 or Oakland 04-17 a shot. Undercover greatness, rarely mentioned, but all worth a listen.
  2. I'll be up for a bootleg table.
  3. It’s been a while since I’ve listened to an audience zoo tv recording. On pure sound quality alone what are the best audience recordings? The London 93 shows maybe? Are there many that sound almost like soundboards with minimal audience noise but instruments still clear. I know all the actual soundboards.
  4. He rated quite a lot shows with less than 2 stars, it would be great to give a listen to all these:

    1983-04-30 Providence
    1993-06-09 Bremen
    1985-03-25 Richfield
    1992-03-23 Montreal

    1982-03-16 Amherst
    2005-09-25 Milwaukee
    1998-01-27 Rio de Janeiro
    1980-10-15 Amsterdam
    1983-03-03 Liverpool
    2005-07-10 Paris
    1983-06-22 Tampa
    1992-05-14 San Sebastian
    1987-12-03 Miami
    1998-03-11 Osaka
    1984-09-09 Sydney
    1982-03-05 Tampa
    2005-11-13 Miami
    1993-07-18 Bologna
    1993-07-18 Bologna

    2005-12-10 Cleveland
    1997-11-08 St. Louis

His review for Sheffield is hilarious: "It s sounds really , really , realy bad. Don t downloaded this bootleg".

Milan 92 is an exceptional show. But yeah, the London shows are pretty good. I remember Boston in the first leg being pretty good (one of the first bootlegs I listened to, in fact), Kiel in the second leg & Madison in the third leg. I believe one of the Glasgow shows is pretty good as well.

Yeah Milan is a great show performance wise and very good sound just a bit too much audience in it for me. Not too much not to enjoy but just a few moments where it’s distracting. I’m quite picky but i was just listening to the samples there from the others you mentioned and I like the sound of Kiel the most, that sounds like the audience don’t overshadow the band at any point. Cheers for the pointers. Glasgow 8/8/93 sounds really good actually as well, no samples on here but I had a quick listen on YouTube. I had all these shows before I think but just kept soundboard/ broadcasts etc on my MacBook and phone now.

We have such different tastes lol

1992-04-12 - Los Angeles, California - Sports Arena
1992-09-13 - Madison, Wisconsin - Camp Randall Stadium
    1993-06-02 - Frankfurt, Germany - Waldstadion

Can't check right now and I'm speaking from memory but I'd say these 3 have excellent and "kinda cold" audience recordings. And the Wembley quartet sounds incredible of course.

Yeah, audience can sometimes be a bit much, but I think one of the Glasgow shows has elements of soundboard in it. I believe the first show might have the better recording.

Kiel has probably one of the best versions of Streets ever. It's practically flawless.

And one of the best Bad and Love Is Blindness ever too. Kiel is one of the best Zoo TV shows overall.
  10. I just love how this thread has derailed and still manages to be great. Sounds like the perfect Zoo TV analogy.
