  1. They were finalizing a few things on the release last month. Sounded then like it won't be long before it's sent off for production. Might even start seeing them in late May like last year...

  2. I noticed the exact same thing!
  3. Watched . Same issues as when i first watched it...

    1) cool, tell your story as a band. However that is out with uteutw
    2) never EVER play SBS without a full kit. That thingie looked and sounded ridiculous.
    3) Stick to refugee story . Leave out youngBono on COBL and especially btbs.
    4) hope to see rbw and cedarwood in the figure.
    5) imagine stuff like ebttrt visuals and better yet uteotw Edge on bonos palm...but in a stadium setting. Making screen more than just projecting images is always good.

Did not mind elevation dancers, just wish they werent stagehogging douchies appearing at several shows. Loved how they let eodm finish the show.

Edit: Best audience after Slane in a U2 DVD. Take note Berlin.

I don't know, SBS in Sarajevo was one of the most important moments in U2 history. In general, SBS in the last legs of the Popmart show was phenomenal, and very emotional, even if it was only Edge.

    YES.
  6. Well total views at the end of streaming for each video (within a few minutes of each being taken down anyway):

    Slane: 448,614
    Red Rocks: 254,882
    PopMart: 340,771
    U2ieTour: 207,608

The last one was taken down at around 49.5 hours, the others had stayed up longer before being taken down. But it wasn't picking up many viewers at the end...I don't think even with another 10 hours that it would have beaten Red Rocks.

During the premieres, when you could see viewership totals?
Slane maxed out at around 20,000 viewers, Red Rocks was the lowest watched 'live' maxing out at around 8,000 viewers, PopMart had about 14,200 viewers 'live' at the peak and U2ieTour had about 11,300 viewers live at the peak.

Just over 1.25 million views across the four shows. Not bad considering that it had almost all been material we've seen before.

We have the rest of our wrap up here: https://www.u2songs.com/videos/the_virtual_road
  7. Love seeing Popmart come in 2nd. Was hoping that Popmart would have the highest stream numbers but it’s pretty damn hard to beat Slane. Hopefully U2 takes note!

*Bono writes in Beautiful Day and Elevation for the next 8 tours*
  9. It’s a damn shame those two songs have been ruined for many of us hardcore fans. They were once solid tunes that were so fresh! Not anymore. I cringed the other day when I was listening to a podcast about U2 (Rock Solid) and the host stated that his favourite U2 song was Beautiful Day! Really????????

Overplayed and we've lived with them for twenty years now... regarding Beautiful Day as a 'favourite' song, only a casual fan would list that as a favourite.
  11. Indeed! It’s just funny, however, that they can play Streets, SBS, One, and WOWY any day and I’ll never get sick of those ones!
  12. Don't be gatekeeping in this fine thread, friends, if you have listened to many hundreds of bootlegs you're bound to get tired of the oft-repeated songs, no matter their quality.
