1. And with pending things I mean with that message that announced those live versions through the decades that we saw on tik tok, which they would later promote in their media xD

The rumoured VR thing has nothing to do with that Story of One video. If it doesn't get announced on Friday I'll assume it's not happening.
  3. Happy Birthday AB

  5. damn... Happy Birthday Achtung Baby! best U2 album
  6. In an era of streaming services all over the place, reality tv shows, "influencers", Tik Tok, people who are famous for being famous (that K family for instance), it seems that Zoo TV was both well ahead of itself and also would be incredibly relevant to do an anniversary tour with today. It probably isn't going to happen but it would seem far more relevant to now than the JT30 tour was a couple of years back.

Imagine the fun they could have on screens these days in the current era. And with the irony of everyone holding up their mobile phone to record it all to put in Youtube and Instagram.
  7. Any interesting info from the Whiley interview?

  8. Happy birthday!
  9. Happy Birthday Achtung Baby!

30 years old, and you still sound way ahead of your time.
What a wild time 1991-1993 was for you younger folks who weren't around, U2 ran red hot around this time.

I was obsessed with the demos beginning several months prior to AB dropping, and even they didn't prepare me fully for what came next with AB and Zoo TV.

Caught 4 Zoo TV shows, first one indoors at Sheffield Arena 17th June 1992, then Cologne, Leeds and Dublin #1 in 1993. (And technically some of Dublin #2 also from a gap in the stadium whilst the coach parked up outside the stadium on the way to the ferry home).

    Treasured memories!

Having an all day (and probably a good chunk of the night) Achtung Baby Marathon...

AB..., the remixes, singles, KB, demo's and a few other rarities, an indoor Zoo TV show (prob Rotterdam 15/6/92), Zoo Radio broadcast, the Phillips DCC special from November 1992 and whatever else I can squeeze in, maybe a soundboard from the Outside Broadcast leg. No Zooropa - as good as that was too - just pure 1991/1992 AB / Zoo TV today for me.
