1. It grew on me after a few listens, not sure why but when I first heard the song's chorus I thought they were singing "don't you want to know..." also got a few bootleg cd's up Camden in the late ninetees to hear live versions.
  2. My fav U2 song. Still praying to hear it live sometime.
  3. Brilliant footage.

  4. Neither have I.
Underproduced(!) intro without connection to the rest of the song. No solo. Very little variation during the rest: the drums n bass n guitars only go on and on. No solo. You can hardly tell the differece between verses and choruses. Did I mention No solo?
Uninteresting and the weakest track on Achtung Baby.

But still better than much on SOI and SOE.

Here you are - now kill me!😉

True, I thought if they had the song kick in from the verse instead as on the Kindergarten version then have the 'sometimes I feel like I don't know' section after the second chorus before kicking into a long solo like the Lady With The Spinning Head remix to the outro would of been interesting. Still a great song however.

like who even cares about how was the song created if it was an outtake, the song is literally a masterpiece and it is on top 3 U2 songs of all times

It's certainly grown into something much more as a live song as do a lot of their songs. It's one of my favourites on AB.
