1. It's mentioned in Bill Flanagan's Book "U2 - At the end of the world"

Plus I remember reading that an Irish DJ had an exclusive listen to it at the time and said it awesome!

Ps: He was in fact reviewing HMTMKMKM for one of the major rock mags of the time ( not Rolling Stone ) and mentioned that there was a whole album of tunes similar wishing that they followed thru with the project.

  3. I didn't care about the joshua tree 30 film but this messed me up mentally, now I can't stop imagining that album

    WHY GOD WHY
  4. look, on this page, i swear by mr macphisto that am going to meet Bono again one day and ask him to release that album or to tell me what happened to it, i swear
  5. and call that album "the perfect crime"
  6. Some parts of tracks ended up on POP lol that's what happened to it. It would have been totally deconstructed as U2 does with all left overs of tracks from albums past.
  7. not so forgotten omg what did you think u2 *knock a table* larry where were you
  8. does this have to do with the cover of Zooropa? it's possible to read staring at the sun, HMTMKMKM and if god will send his angels, am i correct?

This actually makes a lot of sense. The book publisher certainly paid Bono an advance for the book. He is on this tour to sell lots of copies fast to get the memoir on the bestseller lists. He is working for that paycheck right now, not the band. I am sure the last thing the publisher would want is him spending this time to also plug an album with the same name as the memoir that fans would buy this holiday season instead.
