"Poland was probably the highlight of the tour. During New Year's Day I turned to find some water and when I looked back, the entire stadium, 80,000 people, had disappeared under a red and white Solidarity flag. I could hardly speak let alone sing. It was a really emotional moment for anyone who was there. They felt we had stood by them in that moment when they went on strike for democracy and wanted to show us they remembered."
