favorite tour: Joshua Tree Tour 2017

"Missed the 87 tour. Great to see this album showcased. Zoo TV is a close second."

favorite show: 2005-12-15 - Omaha

"First time U2 played my hometown and was inside the ellipse. Oh and they played Crumbs From Your Table!"

favorite album: Achtung Baby

"Until The End Of The World. AB is a very heavy and dark masterpiece."

favorite song: Until The End Of The World

"Instant favorite for me the moment I heard it on AB. Actually difficult to name just one favorite. I could also say A Celebration and Spanish Eyes"

forum activity

"To me U2 has evolved in the subject of their songs. They seemed reluctant to write and perform songs that were very personal. Songs that were autobiographical. I saw that slowly starting to happen with Achtung Baby. The last two albums, SOI and SOE really showcased that personal, life telling story about themselves."

salty72 has featured as a U2start fan of the month, read the full interview.

what they said

"There is an impression out there that U2 is some kind of corporate team, but we've been disagreeing on everything except music for more than 30 years." - Larry

did you know

Released in March of 1997, the album, Pop debuted at #1 in 28 countries, and earned U2 mainly positive reviews. Rolling Stone even went so far as claiming U2 had "defied the odds and made some of the greatest music of their lives."
