You get there! The concerts ‡ home, it's always more pleasant. 20min metro, AA exchange of 12 hours of flight to Los Angeles and train times for Turin and Amsterdam. The only problem is that it takes work. I have not been very productive so today.
And above all, we would finally discover the new Bercy (well AccorHotels Arena, live the naming). PlutÙt not bad, it's cleaner, it's better sitting in short, a modern concert hall.
The concert held in mime? 9th concert for me, so, no real surprise ‡ expected of a first night. Except c'Ètait my best placement ‡ face the screen, so I was going to enjoy it. And frankly, it was the case. There are not ‡ say, for people who come once and can pay the price, they must emerge from the ‡ with stars in their eyes.
The screen, when you're in front, comes into its own and glorifies a number of songs (my wife is mime became a fan of "Even Better Than the Real Thing" with new animations we had not had ‡ Los Angeles , miracle!)
In short, yes, this concert confirmed to me that we had a good tour of a great vintage. If one has the means to enjoy it.
Level performance, the band was in shape. For a first night I've had worse. They place but we felt they were glad plutÙt the ITRE ‡. And the public too. Great atmosphere in my corner with a good MIME pit if shielded.
Strangely, I found the enchaÓnement "The Miracle" / "Vertigo" far more powerful than "Electric Co. or" Out of Control ". The first part of concert very nice, especially with the perfect view of the screen. And a beautiful version of "Bullet the Blue Sky" (one of the longest of the tour right?), with Edge doing Keke brandishing his guitar on the intro and the first riff loupant :-)
But the unexplained is the setlist. Why zap two songs? Moreover those Senses ‡ change every concert? Why block a bit like after thieves "One" (I thought they were going to make a new point).
In fact, fortunately j'Ètais very well placed, I do not think I have benefited much of the show (since n'Ètait not my first AA).

‡ place against the screen so, balcony level ‡ height of the rack enclosure. But can ITRE too high, with a chouilla echo. The sound is very good, like public but not too much. I removed the hand clapping unpleasant to ultimately have an overall sound that holds up. Good mix of age group with a dose as it takes to have a good APERAU of líambiance.
I was scared by being in side the sound fluctuates but no, AA was.

On y arrive ! Les concerts ‡ la maison, c'est toujours plus agrÈable. 20min de mÈtro, Áa change des 12h de vol pour Los Angeles et des heures de train pour Turin et Amsterdam. Le seul problËme, c'est qu'il faut bosser. J'ai pas ÈtÈ trËs productif aujourd'hui donc.
Et puis surtout, on allait enfin dÈcouvrir le nouveau Bercy (enfin AccorHotels Arena, vive le naming). PlutÙt pas mal, c'est plus propre, on est mieux assis, bref une salle de concert moderne.
Le concert en lieu mÍme ? 9Ëme concert pour moi, du coup, pas vraiment de surprise ‡ attendre d'un premier soir. Sauf que c'Ètait mon meilleur placement, face ‡ l'Ècran, j'allais donc pouvoir en profiter. Et franchement, ce fut le cas. Il n'y a pas ‡ dire, pour les gens qui ne viennent qu'une fois et qui peuvent mettre le prix, ils doivent ressortir de l‡ avec des Ètoiles dans les yeux.
L'Ècran, quand tu es en face, prend toute sa dimension et magnifie un certain nombre de chansons (ma femme est mÍme devenue fan de "Even Better Than the Real Thing" avec les nouvelles animations qu'on avait pas eu ‡ Los Angeles, miracle !)
Bref, oui, ce concert m'a confirmÈ qu'on avait bien une tournÈe d'un trËs grand cru. Pour peu qu'on ait les moyens d'en profiter.
Niveau prestation, le groupe Ètait en forme. Pour un premier soir, j'ai connu pire. Ils ont dÈroulÈ, mais on sentait qu'ils Ètaient plutÙt content d'Ítre l‡. Et le public aussi. Superbe ambiance dans mon coin avec une bonne fosse mÍme si blindÈe.
Bizarrement, j'ai trouvÈ l'enchaÓnement "The Miracle" / "Vertigo" bien plus puissant qu'avec "Electric Co. ou "Out of Control". Une premiËre partie de concert trËs agrÈable, surtout avec la vue parfaite sur l'Ècran. Et une superbe version de "Bullet the Blue Sky" (une des plus longue de la tournÈe non ?), avec Edge faisant le kÈkÈ en brandissant sa guitare sur l'intro et loupant le premier riff :-)
Mais l'inexpliquÈ c'est la setlist. Pourquoi zapper deux chansons ? Qui plus est celles qui sont sensÈs changer ‡ chaque concert ? Pourquoi se barrer un peu comme des voleurs aprËs "One" (j'ai cru qu'ils allaient faire un nouveau rappel).
En fait, heureusement que j'Ètais trËs bien placÈ, je ne pense pas que j'aurai autant profitÈ du show (Ètant donnÈ que Áa n'Ètait pas mon premier).

PlacÈ face ‡ l'Ècran donc, niveau balcon, ‡ hauteur du rack d'enceinte. Mais peut-Ítre un peu trop haut, avec un chouilla d'Ècho. Le son reste trËs bon, public en forme mais pas trop. J'ai enlevÈ les claquements de main dÈsagrÈables pour au final avoir un son global qui tient la route. Bon mix du groupe avec une dose public comme il faut pour avoir un bon aperÁu de líambiance.
J'avais peur en Ètant en latÈral que le son fluctue mais non, Áa a ÈtÈ.
