SOI being mostly about youth, I liked that one better than SOE and it's more "experienced" lyrics/narratives (I'm in my early 20s). 13 makes me think of my mom so I like that one but GOOYOW and LISTATIIW don't really leave an impact.
The Best Thing is ironically the worst thing about the album and I can't call it a great or even good album with that song on it lol. Average for me.

to some extent, I'd say yes.
I still like SOI a little more better than SOE, so that part is a "no" for me.
But I'd agree based on nothing substantial that the more introspective tracks are harder to relate to depending on your age.

I’m 22 and SOE hit me like a truck whereas SOI had little emotional impact on me in comparison (even though I really like the album). But then again I’m really old inside haha

3 really good tracks, only 4 songs that I would rate as complete trash and a lot of u2 by numbers.
Not that bad after all these years and the SOI fizzle
