Tour: Various Dates
Songs played: 20
Audio recordings: 2
Videos: 1
  1. 'It's about the songs,' explained Larry, calling in to Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show last night. 'About a band being able to get up and play the music...'

Sounds like they (well, at least he) aren't too focused on the stage, more what they can prove with the music.
  2. who wants to start with 40? haha

  3. Start with 40, then play Wild Honey, then a 90 minute version of IALW and close with 40.
  4. Hahaha 90 minute version of In A Little While! I think the BBC would stop coverage

  5. Glasto would become a ghost town... tumble weed...

Really hoping they play Bad closing with bad would be epic!!
  6. All jokes aside (and I appreciate the humour - how about lounging to "The Playboy Mansion" for 20+ minutes?), I agree with "Bad" as a closer - it's well known outside of U2 circles, no?
  7. who knows Live Aid know Bad very well
  8. I wouldn't call it well known around here anyway. Not to the majority of the under 25s anyway I'd say.

  9. Getting a bit off topic here but I remember Live Aid being a bid deal back in 1985 but do people of the younger generation consider it to be a big deal? I see Woodstock as being a major event. Can I compare the two?

  10. Assuming the majority of the Glastonbury crowd is "young" (i.e. under 25 - and I could be VERY wrong here) maybe it's a sign then that we WON'T see/hear "Bad" - which would be a shame.
  11. While we're at it: They should open with Elvis Ate America and then play Elvis Presley And America... then they can go into 90 min IALW

Then we can all love our band by ourselves without worrying about any new fans.
