Best show in the 3rd Leg. Band has a special bond with Chicago and they've prepared something special for this night. One of the best setlists too, with lots of snippets.
Sound
No complains here, you can hear every instrument and the audience well. You can hear a minor distortion during transition of songs, but it's really nothing serious. Recording: Audience microphone - 4 stars
Audience
They were very involved, just listen to them going nuts when they hear "You're dangerous" at the start of Wild Horses.
Overall
In this show even the standard Vertigo songs shine: one of the best Electric Co. (there's a See Me, Feel Me snippet that is not listed) and BD I've heard in the Vertigo tour, full of energy and great choice of snippets. Elevation has also a non-listed Do You Think I'm Sexy snippet at the beginning, very funny to hear Bono improvising. It was fun to hear The Ocean, with Bono adding some lyrics about their early gigs in the city. Miracle Drug was great, although that "Edge is from the future" story gets old pretty soon. Then there's Bad with an amazing First Time snippet in the middle, One with Ol'Man River, Fast Cars, Original Of The Species... many to choose! SYCMIOYO was great too with In A Little While snippet. There was something special in that song that day, Bono was really into it. Yahweh was right in the middle of the show, it works great here. Wild Horses was the main highlight of the show. As soon as the crowd recognized the song, they went nuts. It was an acoustic performance, but it rocked too! Almost all the songs had something special in this day. This is a must have.
