Seriously fantastic. The show is fresh and near-perfect; I disagree with the user that said they were off their game, and that Bono was getting lost. I feel like this is one of the most spot on performances of the first leg. Magical night for me to listen to.
I knocked off a half point because Larry started drumming the chorus of BD a measure or two early which sort of threw the band off, but whatever. Things happen.
Could be much better, but the show is so outstanding I listened right through it to every bit that I could. Elevation starts out very shaky and uneven, and finally settles down halfway through. The show is pretty consistent all the way through, with some dropouts in level here and there. Worth listening to. Recording: Audience microphone - 3 stars
Outstanding. They are loud...the quality of the recording actually clips at times because they are so loud, but I didn't mind it. During the hook of UTEOTW and during the lights-out moment of the bridge of Elevation, they literally overpower the bootleg and it really just gives you a great booming, heart-pounding adrenaline rush of what that arena sounded like that evening.
I'm going all out and giving it 5 stars. I will absolutely listen to this show again, and it's easily the best show I've heard in my recent bootleg splurge of about 6 career-spanning shows lately. I love this performance, I love this crowd, and this Calgary show reminds me why I love early-tour shows so much...the band hasn't settled down yet. They are hyper, they are ready to rock and roll, and things are still just as adrenalizing to them as they are to the audience.

"The young men who spent their whole childhoods working up to making Boy had now spent twenty-five years of adulthood working up to making Atomic Bomb. I felt we had somehow got back to the same point again, revisiting that place of youth and innocence with the maturity of a lifetime."
- Adam on playing Boy songs in 2015
did you know
In U2's very early days, a guy called Eugene who played drums in a north Dublin rock outfit called Stryder occasionally filled in for Larry on the gigs he couldn't make.
