Good 1st Leg show. The setlist is very similar to the Chicago DVD, but LAPOE opens the show. It was great to see a change there.
I listened to the remaster. Overall, it's very good, but I heard distortions in Vertigo and some hissing in other songs, not a major problem though.

Good show, but with some mistakes. The Boy set was the best part, with an excellent Cry/Electric Co. (am I the only one that thinks Bono's joke in this song is funny?) and the always awesome combo An Cat Dubh/Into The Heart. In the first leg Bono's speeches were incredibly long! I fully support all his causes, but man, if you add all those up, you get like 10 minutes of blabber! I don't know what happened to Bono in One, he just stopped singing for quite some time.

This is my remastered version of the original thir13en upload. His work was good
but there was enough room for improvement.First of all the sound had a bad
problem with stereo phase. In fact the left channel was phase reversed!
I adjusted that and i gave more separation between instruments.
The sound was muddy and not very dynamic.I've applied eq,harmonic
enhancement and some limiting.
As i always say i do this only for the pleasure of having
a better and exciting listening experience
without having to mess with the equalizer in your home/car/headphones listening enviroment.
Now the sound is sooo much better!!
You can judge yourself listening to the samples provided.
For all those of you who want a technical insight i can
say that the remastering was done all in 32 bit domain using this equiment :
Mytek Stereo 96 dac (pc optical out)
Dynaudio BM 12 A (connected with vovox xlr cable)
Sennheiser hd 600 (with stefan audio art equinox cable)
Lake people G100 (pro headphone amplifier)
Sonnox Oxford Limiter
I hope you enjoy!!!!

"Our idea was really to have the audience be on the stage there with you, we learned that in the mid 80s. We've been trying to figure a way to do it outdoors since. There's a bit of sleight of hand involved because by moving all the gear up away from you and over you, you're just left with a little punk rock band there in the middle."

did you know
According to an interview from 1982 the song 'October' is about the Bolsheviek revolution in Russia in 1917, that brought Communism to power. This theme is mixed with a personal theme, possibly Bono's mothers death.
