This is such a great performance. They really do seem like they're having fun; sort of like they've got the show figured out (even though this would be the last time they'd open with Love & Peace) and want to out with a bang before leaving the states. Third night in one city undoubtedly leaves them more comfortable on stage and it shows.

Let's get one thing out of the way: The Electric Co is impressively bad here. I think I laughed out loud twice. At one point, no two band members are playing the same part of the song. I think I would've thought my head was falling apart if I had witnessed that. I say it's impressive because the wheels are almost off entirely...but they somehow manage to stay in time and push through the song! It never truly falls apart even though it is rarely EVER together.

ZooTV encore is great - I was not paying attention to the setlist as I listened and expected Zoo Station, so its always great to be caught off guard by The Fly. The second Vertigo doesn't entirely work here and I think they could've been a little more creative there.

One cool note about the FIRST performance of Vertigo, though, is that it goes for a reprise without any snippets / crowd chants from Bono...just Larry & Adam riding it out until they all kick back in. Something a little different.

Stellar performance of An Cat Dubh / Into the Heart, at least from the memory of my first listen. Bono is still doing the "My name is Paul but I call myself Bono" bit.

Nothing much to complain about here. Just about how I'd like a Vertigo show to sound. Great boomy crowd mix, band sounds great.

Just shy of perfect in the mix.

Tremendously enjoyable Vertigo concert. Definitely one to pull a few favorites from.
