Performance notes: U2 performs live from London for the "America: A Tribute To Heroes" telethon in support of the victims of the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks. This is the first time part of "Peace on Earth" is sung live. A number of guests accompany the band, including Dave Stewart on guitar and Morleigh Steinberg (Edge's wife) and Natalie Imbruglia as backing vocalists. "Walk On" is performed a second time afterwards, this rendition recorded for the BBC's Top of the Pops with the programme's branding fully visible after it was covered up for the first performance.
