Comments: All of U2 attended a dinner arranged by the Irish Hospice Foundation to honour long-time friend and Virgin Prunes founder Gavin Friday. During the dinner, Bono sung a Sinatra cover, and Edge participated in a cover of the Virgin Prunes' classic Art Fuck with three members of the Prunes: Gavin himself and Guggi both on vocals and Edge's brother Dik on guitar. Edge played bass. Setlist and comment provided by U2gigs.com.

"The last 24 hours were just extraordinairy. It was like Chinese calligraphy, where the monks take ages to mix the ink and then - bam! - it all happens in seconds."
- Bono on the making of the No Line On The Horizon album, 2009

'40' from the War album almost was never recorded. The band (minus Adam Clayton who had left the studio) had gone over their booked studio time, but convinced the studio manager to let them record '40'. It has closed many show since. The Edge plays both electric and bass guitar on the song.
