Performance notes: U2 perform on the roof of Electric Lady Studios. The band are reputedly there recording new material, but the rooftop performance - which is heard by fans on the street and filmed - simply features multiple acoustic performances of Sunday Bloody Sunday. The filming is for agit8, run by the One Campaign ahead of the G8 summit in Northern Ireland. Setlist and comment provided by U2gigs.com.

what they said
"I wrote Vertigo during one of the first sessions I did to come up with ideas for the new album. I was playing along to some loops that Larry had made, and within minutes I laid down a scratch guitar part, and there it was."
- Edge, 2008

The album Pop is named so because for U2 it was a tribute to popular music, art and culture.
